Nufoot: Better than Barefoot
November 2013

Tired of getting your socks dirty walking through airport security? Worried about germs in hotel rooms? Want to save your floors? Nufoot, the “Crocs” of indoor footwear, may be your answer.
Patricia Zweiback, the creator of Nufoot, believed a demand existed for multi-use indoor footwear. She envisioned a need for footwear that could be used as slippers in dorms, patient socks in hospitals, slip-on shoes for travel, and more. Her brainchild took shape as a foldable, lightweight, non-skid, germ resistant slip-on shoe. Available in a variety of patterns and designs, the footwear is designed for all ages and genders.
The product intrigued our testers. They all agreed the Nufoot are great for yoga class, traveling, and hanging out at home. However, the sizing was slightly off for both men and women. An XL for women, designed to fit sizes 10-12, fit our size 8 women perfectly. Another flaw with the product is its ability to remain water-resistant. After a couple of washings, the water-resistant feature was questionable.
The comfort, lightweight, flexibility and fun patterns won out over the size issues and water-resistance challenges for our testers. At $14.99, the price is right and may be the just the stocking stuffer you’ve been looking for.
